Assignment 5a

The Independence Era of Latin America refers to the blatant rebellion that the conquered people had against their ruling power. Insurrections occurred and after bloodshed and militancy Spain was made to leave their posts as conquerors and take their posts back in Spain as the defeated.

Simon Bolivar-

Simon Bolivar was one of the most important leaders in the Spanish-American battle for independence from Spain. He was president of Peru, Bolivia, Venezuela, and Colombia. He died prematurely of Tuberculosis.
